To Accuse or Not To Accuse - That Is The Question

These are some hadiths that I researched, collected and written for the benefit of some people who have deviated from the teachings of Quran and Sunnah and started accusing students of Knowledge as kafirs just because they strictly follow the teachings of Quran and Sunnah and leave no space for mumbo jumbo stuff.

These Deviants (those people who have deviated from the path of Quran and Sunnah) are pretty active on the internet.

A lot of forums and specially YouTube has become the hot bed for this sort of activities and there may be hundreds of videos which are posted to degrade not only the followers of Quran and Sunnah and students of knowledge but as well some of the greatest and most brilliant Alims
of Islam, like Ibn Katheer, Ibn Taymiya etc. the Islam has ever seen.

They label these eminent
Alims, scholars, teachers as Kafirs just because some of their teachings and sayings does not conform with with way these "deviants" would want it to be.

Having said that there are some scholars and teachers who genuinely may have made mistakes in their teachings and their sayings. But That does not give these deviants a right to accuse and abuse these scholars and teachers. They should politely point out their mistakes and refrain from slandering.

And whats worse is that those people who are indulging in takfeeri (calling other muslims as Kafirs) are not well versed in Islam and its teaching. I have been trying to enlighten some of these "deviants", however their pendulum seems to be stuck at one word "Wahhabi" even if you prove that some of the actions of these "deviants" totally go against the
the Quran and Sunnah.

This post is primarily focused on those "deviants" and I will provide evidences from Quran and Hadiths that what they are doing is not warranted in Islam. In fact, its absolutely haraam to indulge in this type of activities. Although any one who reads this post should benefit is tremendously as some of the Ayaths and Hadiths are extremely powerful.

I really hope and pray that some of these "deviants" will be enlightened and come the the path of Quran and Sunnah after reading these hadiths and some ayaths just read them objectively, I hope Allah help you to come to the path of Quran, Sunnah of Rasool (SAW), the Guidance of the Rightly Guided Caliphs and the Teachings of the Four great Imams of Islam.

Also, Please for the sake of Allah refrain from spreading fabricated hadiths and slandering people.

I hope these Hadiths will help you.

1) For guarding ones self from False Allegations and Doubtful Matters:
==========================================================
The Prophet
(P.B.U.H) said: "Whoever guards against the doubtful matters will protect his religious commitment from shortcomings and will protect his honour from slander, but whoever falls into that which is doubtful will fall into that which is haraam."
(Al-Bukhaari;52 and Muslim;1599)

2)
Accusing someone of Disbelief:
===========================
The Prophet
(P.B.U.H) said, "Whoever swears by a religion other than Islam, is, as he says; and whoever commits suicide with something, will be punished with the same thing in the (Hell) Fire; and cursing a believer is like murdering him; and whoever accuses a believer of disbelief, then it is as if he had killed him."
(Al-Bukhari; 6232)

3)
Fabricating Hadiths:
===================
It was narrated by Ali that The Prophet
(P.B.U.H) said, "Do not tell a lie against me for whoever tells a lie against me (intentionally) then he will surely enter the Hell-fire."
(Al-Bukhari; 107)

4) Curse and Cursing Others:

========================
a) The Prophet
(P.B.U.H) said: "The believer is not a slanderer, one who curses a great deal, one who indulges in obscenity or who in engages in foul talk."
(Al-Tirmidhi; 1977)

b) It Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas
(R.A): A man cursed the wind. (The narrator Muslim's version has:) The wind snatched away a man's cloak during the time of The Prophet (P.B.U.H) and he cursed it. The Prophet (P.B.U.H) said: Do not curse it, for it is under command, and if anyone curses a thing undeservedly, the curse returns upon him."
(Sunan Al-Abu Dawood; Book 41, Number 4890)

c) It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (R.A) that the Messenger of Allaah
(P.B.U.H) said: "It is not appropriate for a sincere believer to be given to cursing."
(Al-Muslim; 2597)

d) It was narrated that Abu'l-Darda' (R.A) said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah
(P.B.U.H) say: "Those who curse a great deal will not be witnesses or intercessors on the Day of Resurrection. (Al-Muslim; 2598)

5) Backbiting & Slandering:
=======================
a) The Quran says"neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allaah. Verily, Allaah is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance, Most Merciful"
(Surah Al-Hujuraat, 49:12)

b) Also It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (R.A) that the Prophet Muhammad
(P.B.U.H) said: "Do you know what gheebah (backbiting) is?" They said, "Allaah and His Messenger know best." He said, "Saying something about your brother that he dislikes." It was said, "What if what I say about my brother is true?" He said, "If what you say is true then you have backbitten about him, and if it is not true, then you have slandered him."
( Al-Muslim; 2589 )

c) It was narrated by Abu Huraira
(R.A): I heard Abu-l-Qasim (the Prophet (PBUH) saying, "If somebody slanders his slave and the slave is free from what he says, he will be flogged on the Day of Resurrection unless the slave is really as he has described him."
(Al-Bukhari; No. 6426)

d) It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbaas
(R.A) said: The Messenger of Allaah (P.B.U.H) passed by two graves and said, "They are being punished, but they are not being punished for anything that was difficult to avoid. One of them used to walk about spreading malicious gossip (nameemah), and the other used not to take precautions to avoid getting urine on himself when he urinated."

Then he called for a green branch, which he split in two and planted a piece on each grave, and said, "May their torment be reduced so long as these do not dry out."
(Narrated by Al-Bukhaari, 213) (Al-Muslim, 292 )

I sincerely hope that you have had some benefit from these hadiths.

I pray that may Allah forgive you and May Allah help you to come to the path of Quran, Sunnah of Messenger Of Allah
(P.B.U.H), the Guidance of the Rightly Guided Caliphs (R.A) and the Teachings of the Four great Imams of Islam.

Amin

Back Biting and Slandering - Causes of Clamities in Our Lives.

In our society and our lives we have been inflicted with calamities and disasters.

Have we ever looked at our lives and examined our actions whether they follow the true teachings of Islam.

Many a thing we do goes directly against the teachings of Quran and Sunnah. And Back biting and Slandering are couple of things which we do in our lives which is a cause of calamities and disasters in our lives.

The hadith of Prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H) defines what is Backbiting and Slandering:

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (R.A) that the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) said: "Do you know what gheebah (backbiting) is?" They said, "Allaah and His Messenger know best." He said, "Saying something about your brother that he dislikes." It was said, "What if what I say about my brother is true?" He said, "If what you say is true then you have backbitten about him, and if it is not true, then you have slandered him."
( Muslim;2589 )

The Quran clearly forbids us not to Backbite and Slander people.

"neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allaah. Verily, Allaah is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance, Most Merciful"
(Surah Al-Hujuraat, 49:12)

Allah curses the person who Backbiter and Slanders:

" Woe to every slanderer and Backbiter."
(Surah Al-Humazah, 104: 1)

Backbiting and Slandering not only gains curse of Allah but also the torment in graves..

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbaas said: The Messenger of Allaah (S.A.W) passed by two graves and said, "They are being punished, but they are not being punished for anything that was difficult to avoid. One of them used to walk about spreading malicious gossip (nameemah), and the other used not to take precautions to avoid getting urine on himself when he urinated". Then he called for a green branch, which he split in two and planted a piece on each grave, and said, "May their torment be reduced so long as these do not dry out."
(Narrated by Bukhaari, 213; Muslim, 292 )

..but also flogging in the Day of Judgement.

It was narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Abu-l-Qasim (the Prophet) saying, "If somebody slanders his slave and the slave is free from what he says, he will be flogged on the Day of Resurrection unless the slave is really as he has described him."
(Bukhari; No. 6426)

So my brothers and sister please think carefully before you speak, hold your tongue before you speak ill of people.

May Allah forgive our sins. May Allah Help us to increase our Iman. May Allah bring Blessings, Prosperity, Tranquility and "Glad Tidings" in our lives.

May Allah help us to come to the path of Quran, Sunnah of Prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H), the Guidance of the Rightly Guided Caliphs and the Teachings of the Four great Imams of Islam.

Amin.
